Functional Use: This device is a one-handed snap-on system fitted to the PS5 DualSense controller. Because the DualSense is symmetric, a left-handed version comes from printing the parts mirrored along the Y axis.
Relevant Occupations: Play and Leisure
Client Factors: May be relevant when a person has limited use of one hand or reduced bilateral coordination.
Performance Skills: The parts bring the controls within reach of one hand, and a TPU foot or leg strap works the stick, so the client presses the buttons with one hand and rocks the controller instead of using both hands together.
Safety Considerations: This is the largest gaming build, and assembly is difficult the first time. During assembly, confirm the button shafts turn freely.
Limitations: The device requires practice to be used efficiently. It has the most parts to break out of any device in the library, so backup pieces may be needed. It fits only the PS5 DualSense controller. It is not a cleared medical device, so its use must be a clinical decision made by the treating occupational therapist.
