The content on OT3Dresource.org, which may also appear as "OT 3D Resource" or "3D Printing in Occupational Therapy" (the "Site"), is provided for general educational purposes only. "Site owner" means the person who owns and operates the Site.

Educational content, not professional advice

Nothing on the Site is medical advice, occupational therapy advice, individualized clinical advice, legal advice, engineering advice, product-safety certification, or professional judgment for any specific person, client, patient, classroom, workplace, or care setting. The Site supports general learning and resource discovery. Licensure and titles

Under New York law, only a person who is licensed or otherwise authorized may use the title "occupational therapist" or "occupational therapy assistant." If the Site owner is a student, graduate, or future license applicant, the Site should be read with that in mind unless it states otherwise.

The Site may describe or link to outside repositories, forums, video platforms, maker communities, product pages, and file-hosting sites. The Site owner does not host, own, sell, make, moderate, or control those files, designs, products, or communities unless the Site says otherwise. Risks of 3D-printed and adapted devices

A 3D-printed or adapted device may not be appropriate for every person, condition, setting, or use. Depending on the design, material, and how it is made and used, a device may fail, fit poorly, raise hygiene concerns, break under load, irritate skin, or create choking or sharp-edge hazards. Any discussion on the Site of possible uses, populations, or occupational therapy considerations is educational only. It is not a statement that a file or device is safe, effective, clinically appropriate, or lawful for any particular person or setting.

You are responsible for evaluating safety, fit, material choice, durability, infection control, supervision needs, and whether a device is appropriate for a specific client or context. Where appropriate, obtain review by a qualified professional before relying on a device. The Site owner makes no claim that any linked resource meets FDA requirements, reimbursement rules, school or workplace policies, infection-control standards, accessibility laws, or the rules of any profession or jurisdiction.

References and endorsements

Unless the Site says otherwise, any mention of an outside product, tool, file, repository, organization, or brand reflects the Site owner's educational selection or commentary only. It is not paid advertising, sponsorship, endorsement, affiliation, certification, or a guarantee. If the Site owner ever has a material connection to something mentioned, that connection will be disclosed clearly near the relevant content.
